Pre-Ballet A
This class is for ages 3-4 years old. In this class, your student will have the opportunity to engage in creative movement, where they will explore and express themselves through various forms of dance. They will also begin to build a foundational understanding of basic dance vocabulary, which will include essential terms and concepts related to movement and choreography. Additionally, the class will introduce them to the identification and awareness of different body parts, helping them to develop a more nuanced understanding of how their body moves and functions. They will also start to learn about spatial recognition, which involves understanding and navigating the space around them while dancing. This will enhance their ability to move confidently and effectively within different spatial contexts.
Pre-Ballet B
This class builds upon the foundational skills that were introduced in Pre-Ballet A and is specifically designed for children aged 5 to 6 years old. In this level, your student will start to integrate and connect individual dance steps, working on combining movements into more complex sequences. This process will help them to not only expand upon but also solidify the basic dance vocabulary and concepts they have already learned.
Additionally, they will continue to develop their coordination and balance through structured exercises and creative dance activities. The class will emphasize the importance of rhythmic timing and spatial awareness, helping students to move confidently within their personal space as well as in relation to others. There will also be a focus on enhancing their ability to follow instructions and express themselves through dance, fostering both their technical skills and artistic expression.
